I will look into having a few goats later when I am going to be there most of the time.Marc Olsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11289566244668566622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6277313567524932904.post-57654392938860810112017-08-26T11:21:11.885-05:002017-08-26T11:21:11.885-05:00Really there is not much going on at the ranch. I will post as things progress. I'm not a big fan of wire with barbs, the high tensile smooth wire is better for keeping animals in and safer for the rest of us.. People are using goats to clear land here in Ohio. A permanent fence is built around the perimeter of the property and then temporary lines are run through the block to keep the goats from just eating their favorite plants. My sister just had her lot cleared of underbrush by this method. It took a month to clear about an acre of 20 year old timber of its underbrush. Looks almost parklike. Some of us prefer the paper instead of a vocal expression. It allows to grasp your thoughts better, choose words more carefully but what is the best - the final result stays forever unless decided to wipe it out. Spoken story is easier to be replaced by the next one. Written one allow us to come back and experience it again and again. Simple wire on an old corral wall interestingly transformed into a catching story.
